Research Meets Poetry

Promovendi presenteren hun enthousiasme voor wetenschap tijdens een poetry slam. Samen met jonge dichters schrijven ze een gedicht dat is geïnspireerd op hun onderzoek. Van rap tot sonnet, in het Nederlands of het Engels. Het publiek jureert en bepaalt wie wint! Richard Nobbe, winnaar van twee van de vorige edities, presenteert de avond.

PhD candidates share their passion for research during a poetry slam. These young researchers speed date a poet and transform their research topic into a short poem. This can be a rhyming dialogue, a rap or a spoken word poem. The audience decides who wins. Richard Nobbe, winner of two of the previous editions, presents the event.
