Posterarchief | Poster archive
Ter gelegenheid van het jubileum doken SGG en het Universiteitsmuseum de kelders in om meer dan 1300 posters uit het archief te verzamelen en deze op te nemen in de collectie van het museum, want wie wat bewaart heeft wat. Een deel van het archief is al openbaar toegankelijk online. Ook was er ter gelegenheid van het jubileum een kleine expositie in de etalage van het Universiteitsmuseum, direct aan de straat in de Oude Kijk in ‘t Jatstraat (tussen het Universiteitsmuseum en de I-Shop), met een kleine collectie van de posters.
In honor of our 75th birthday, SGG and the University Museum explored their basement archives to dig up over 1300 posters to add them to the museum’s collection - because to waste not is to want not. A digitalisation of the collection is currently in the works. A part of it is already published online. Also, there was an exhibition in the windows of the University Museum (Oude Kijk in 't Jatstraat, between University Museum and I-shop) to celberate our 75th anniversary, showing a small collection of the posters.
